PARENTS AND FRIENDS THANKYOU
Our Parents and Friends Annual General Meeting was held last Monday. At this meeting Colleen Dowling (Sunday and Joseph McCarthy) and Rahul Dudeja (Jeremy, Joshua and Marc) accepted the nomination to be joint Parents and Friends Chairs in 2022. We are very grateful that they have taken on this responsibility and look forward to them leading our Parents and Friends into what we hope is a return to all our normal school events and celebrations.
As they begin we give a huge thank you to Michelle Lane (Millie and Charlie), Katrina Dimitriu (Pavlos and Efthimia) and Amanda Phillips (Baxter and Xavier) who have led our Parents and Friends over the very challenging years of being in and out of lockdown. Their leadership and support has been extraordinary and on behalf of our community I offer our sincere thanks.
Secretary Needed - Our Parents and Friends are still in need of a Secretary. Responsibilities include distributing the agenda via email and taking and distributing minutes. If you are able to take on this role please email pnf1@spbentleigheast.catholic.edu.au

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Allie Clark 6MH and her team Showstoppers who came first in their recent National Cheerleading Competition over the weekend. That means first in Australia in their division! A great effort considering Victorian Teams were training online via zoom for most of the year and the other states were able to train properly in their club gyms.
HOLY TRINITY PARISH CHRISTMAS MASSES
LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION'S LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERS PROGRAM
A flyer has gone home with your child today regarding the Lighthouse Foundation's Lighthouse Keepers Program. Lighthouse Keepers are a special group of supporters who give a donation every month which keeps the ‘lights burning brightly’ in all of the Lighthouse homes. Whilst many of us are fortunate enough to have things like fresh groceries and electricity at the snap of our fingers, it’s sometimes easy to take them for granted. By becoming a Lighthouse Keeper, your monthly donation ensures that Lighthouse can be there for homeless children and young people in our local community for years to come. Just $5 a month can make a world of difference. Head to www.lighthousefoundation.org.au and help change a vulnerable young life.END OF YEAR PARALITURGY

Trivia Night
In response to the tough restrictions and constant change over the last 2 years, many of the social events on the St Peter’s calendar that contribute to making our school a great community to be part of, have had to be altered, postponed or even cancelled. While we made every attempt to reschedule and postpone our Trivia Night event on two occasions this year, the St Peter’s P&F committee made the necessary decision to cancel the event for the second year in a row, in order to protect the health & wellbeing of our school community.
We have been advised by the School Office that parents who had paid for tickets have already been refunded their money.
The Trivia Night is a much loved event on the St Peter's social calendar, made possible with the support of our parent community and our valued sponsors. We are extremely grateful and excited to advise that our 2021 PLATINUM sponsors Jellis Craig & Kon Galitos and GOLD Sponsors, Melbourne Orthodontic Group (MOG) & Construct Melbourne, will be rolling over their contributions to sponsor the event in 2022!! Third time lucky?!
We look forward to when we will be able to come back together for some fun and a much anticipated celebration.
In the meantime, the P&F team wish all St Peter's families & staff a wonderful Christmas, a restful and safe break and a new year full of health, free of lockdowns and the return of much-loved community events!
